⁴ When Judah went up, Adonai delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hands; they struck down 10,000 of them at Bezek. ⁵ They found Adoni-bezek in Bezek, engaged him in battle, and defeated the Canaanites and the Perizzites.

⁶ Though Adoni-bezek fled, they pursued him, caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his big toes.
